About Coach

Growing up I was always active in sports and training for my next season. Throughout high school, I played soccer, basketball, and volleyball. God blessed me with the opportunity to pursue a soccer career at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. I competed on the UMHB women’s soccer team for 3 years, and this is when I fell in love with the weight room. I love being able to push myself, both physically and mentally, to become better every day. I realized that the gym helps my spiritual, mental, and physical health. After my collegiate soccer career, I became a High School soccer coach. During that season, I found my passion for coaching and helping others. It brings me great joy whenever I can help someone improve their performance and confidence. I am currently a coach at Be Strong Fitness, a strength and conditioning coach, and a soccer coach at Second Baptist School. I will be graduating from Houston Baptist University in December 2023 with a major in Business. I am excited to be a part of your fitness journey and push you to be the best version of yourself!

Turning Point

Throughout my life, I have struggled with self-esteem and body image. I began lifting weights in order to look a certain way, but I quickly realized this was not a healthy relationship with the gym. Throughout my lifting career, I have listened to many different podcasts, read books, and prayed a lot to learn how to not place my identity in the gym and my outward appearance. God revealed to me that my identity and self-worth comes from Him and who He says I am. It does not come from if I look a certain way. I began to work out because it made me feel good, physically and mentally, and it proud of myself for staying disciplined. There were coaches along my fitness journey who encouraged me and motivated me, and I aspire to be a coach who will do the same for you!
